This Moroccan Tandoori seasoning is an Indian seasoning with a little twist, infused with the spiciness of cumin, coriander, garlic, and black pepper, which gives it a bold flavor for chicken, fish, lamb or steaks. RECIPE
Have a taste of Mediterranean with this Moroccan Tandoori Chicken Kabobs recipe.
Ingredients:
- 3 large boneless/skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1 inch cubes
- 2 red bell peppers, cut into 1 inch pieces
- 2 green bell peppers, cut into 1 inch pieces
- 1-2 zucchinis, cut into thick circle or semi-circle pieces
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 1 1/2 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1 1/2 Tbsp grated ginger
- 1 Tbsp minced Thai green chilies
- 1/2 tsp dried mint
- 4 Tbsp Tandoori Moroccan seasoning
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 3 Tbsp lime juice
- olive oil

Insturctions:
- In a large bowl, mix together plain yogurt, garlic, ginger, Thai green chilies, dried mint , 3Tbsp of the Tandoori Moroccan seasoning, salt, ground black pepper, and lime juice. Adjust to taste as needed.
- Add chicken pieces into marinade and coat. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes, preferably 8 hours for best taste.
- Soak 15 bamboo skewers in warm water for 30 minutes minimum/
- When ready to cook kabobs, toss vegetables in 1 Tbsp olive oil and 1 Tbsp Tandoori Moroccan seasoning.
- Starting 2 inches from bottom and leaving 1 inch at top, thread bamboo skewers with vegetables and chicken pieces, until all skewers are filled.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Carefully spray grill with non-stick cooking spray. Cook kabobs for 10-12 minutes, flipping kabobs at half way mark to other side. Depending on grill, adjust time as needed, until chicken is cooked through. Repeat for all.
