Comes from the hardy perennial Valeriana wallichii plant, Valerian Root can be found growing in Europe and Asia, and can sometime be referred to as Wild Valerian, German Valerian or English Valerian, and comes in different forms, which include cut and sifted and powdered.

  • 2 tsp catnip
  • 1 1/2 tsp valerian root powder
  • 1 tsp chamomile
  • 1 tsp lavender
  • 1/2 tsp hibiscus petals, dried
  • 2 tsp kava-kava
  • 1 1/3 tsp tarragon
  • 1 tsp parsley


  1. Heat water until boiling, or until desired temperature.
  2. Combine herbs into tea strainer.
  3. Steep for 3 minutes, serve with sugar or honey.
