Spicy Paprika Ginger Chicken Recipe

This flavorful and aromatic dish combines the warmth of paprika, the zing of ginger, and the heat of pepper to create a perfectly seasoned chicken meal. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or a meal to impress guests!

Ingredients:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp ground ginger

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp honey (optional, for balance)

  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel. In a small bowl, mix the paprika, ground ginger, black pepper, and salt.

  2. Season: Rub the spice mix evenly onto both sides of the chicken breasts.

  3. Sauté: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.

  4. Add Garlic & Broth: Reduce heat to low, add the minced garlic, and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth and lemon juice, stirring to deglaze the pan.

  5. Simmer: Cover and let simmer for 5-7 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). Add honey if using, stirring to combine.

  6. Serve: Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve warm with rice, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad.
